About Me
I am the Roger and Stephany Joslin Professor of Law and Professor of Philosophy & Political Science at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where I also serve as Director of the Women and Gender in Global Perspectives Program and Chair of the Illinois Scholars at Risk Program Committee.
Together with Brinton Lykes, I serve as the co-Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal of Transitional Justice.
My research expertise is in political philosophy, jurisprudence, and ethics. I am interested in the justice of dealing with systemic wrongdoing- past and present- and the moral dimensions of risk analysis and risk mitigation.
I received my PhD in Philosophy from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and BA in Philosophy from the University of Notre Dame.
